Proposes revised requirements for quality management systems. The application of these requirements can be used by an organization for its internal quality management and evaluation, to demonstrate its capability to meet customer requirements, and for assessment of its capability by external parties. This draft is identical with the second Committee Draft issued by ISO/TC 176, the International Organization for Standardization Technical Committee on Quality Management and Quality Assurance, and prepared by the Working Group (ISO/TC 176/SC 1/WG 1) under that committee. (Note: The requirements clause of ISO/CD2 9001 are also reproduced within ISO/CD 9004, where they are identified by text boxes.) All comments must be submitted by e-mail, using the correct template for each draft, due to the volume of comment anticipated.
