Specifies requirements for quality management systems. Requirements are generic, i.e. applicable to organizations regardless of size, type, industry, product or service. May be used by organizations to demonstrate their ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer requirements, and to address customer satisfaction, improvement processes and the prevention of nonconformity. This Interim Standard is identical with ISO/DIS 9001:2000.
