This 2004 ESAA Guideline applied to the selection, use and maintenance of PPE for work where electrical hazards may be encountered during the operation, construction and maintenance of electrical apparatus within the Electricity Supply Industry.These Guidelines were limited to insulating gloves, safety footwear, eye and face protection, head protection and protective clothing. It was recognised that there were a number of specially manufactured and treated fabrics used for protective clothing, however, this guideline was based on 100% cotton drill as the minimum requirement.
