Defines the general requirements for the protection ofelectrostatic discharge sensitive devices (ESDS) fromelectrostatic discharge and fields. Applicable only tothe manufacture and use of electronic devices. Covershow to design, use and control a protected area to ensurethat electrostatic sensitive devices, having a withstandthreshold voltage of 100 V (human body model) or higher,can be handled with a minimum risk of damage resultingfrom electrostatic phenomena.
