This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies installation methods of heating facilities, in general situations. The installation work means to fix the heating cables, heating sheets and heating boards of working voltage not exceeding a.c. 600 V to the road, parking place, structural materials of building, inside or surface of such structure as pipeline, underground, surface of the earth, mid air or in the water. However, this Standard is not applicable for such a case that heating wire or the like is used as a component of a machine or apparatus.
