Addresses the collection and presentation of data required to understand the reliability features of a component. Guides users on specifying their reliability requirements to manufacturers. No distinction is made between data on operation or failures without failures or faults. Information from laboratory tests should be available to the designers so they can evaluate reliability of circuits and systems.
