This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classifications, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, operation manual, packaging, transport and storage for milling machines. 　　This standard is applicable to self-propelled tracked or wheeled milling machines. 　　This standard does not apply to non-specialized milling machines such as towed milling machines or walk behind type milling machines, or to equipment with a miller.
