This standard is included in DIN Handbook 85 and 156. Defines minimum requirements to ensure that an air or water cooled package, air/air, water/air, air/water or water/water heat pump, having an electrically driven compressor, is appropriate for the use intended by the manufacturer, for space heating or hot sanitary water. Also defines recommendations for the specification of unit characteristics by the manufacturer so as to help users and manufacturers to understand and compare different types.
