Defines the composition, property requirements and dimensional tolerances for copper and copper alloy round rod supplied in straight lengths, specifically intended for forging. Applies to regular polygonal rod, hollow rod, rectangular bar and profiles intended for forging. Also, covers the sampling procedures, methods of test for verification of conformity to the requirements of this standard and the delivery conditions.
