Proposes the adoption of IEC 60694:1996 as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard to provide common specifications for a.c. switchgear and controlgear designed for indoor and outdoor installation and for operation at service frequencies up to 60 Hz on systems having voltages above 1000 V. A copy of IEC 60694:1994 may be purchased from or viewed at any Standards Australia office, Standards Australia Information Centre or Melbourne or Standards New Zealand.
