Describes requirements for wrought seamless and fabricated carbon and ferritic alloy steel butt welding pipe fittings for petroleum industry. Following types of fittings are covered 45 degrees long radius elbows; 90 degrees long and short radius elbows; 90 degrees long radius tangent elbows; long and short radius return bends; equal and reducing tees; concentric and eccentric reducers; caps and lap joint stub ends. Excludes welding neck flanges which are included in B.S. 1560 and B.S. 3293. Also lists information to be supplied by the purchaser.
