This Rule Note NR544 summarizes the certification requirements for materials and equipment (generally referred to as ?products?) which are covered by the class and used or fitted on board the following inland watersoperated vessels/units: ? Inland navigation vessels in accordance with the Rules for the classification of inland navigation vessels (NR217). ? Floating establishments in accordance with the Rules for the classification of floating establishments (NR580). ? Harbour equipment in accordance with the Rules for the classification of harbour equipment (NR612).
