Defines the sizing of nickel-cadium batteries that are used in full floate operation for stationary applications. Qualification, installation, maintenance, testing procedures and consideration of battery types other than nickel-cadium batteries that are beyond the scope within this recommended practice. Also beyond the scope of this recommended practice is the design of the dc system and sizing of the battery charger(s).
