This Standard sets out requirements for the basic equipment required for the performance of tests in the AS 1141 series. Specifications for specialized testing equipment, specific for a limited number of tests in the series, are being included in the appropriate test methods as these methods are revised.NOTE: Users of Standards in the AS 1141 series should make reference to this Standard, to the apparatus listed in the test method(s) under consideration, and to the appropriate appendix given in Table 2, to determine equipment requirements for particular test methods.
