Covers the requirements to be met by valves delivered in accordance with the provisions of DIN 3230 Part 1. It applies to standardized valves in conjunction with the provisions of existing standards on the subject. Where appropriate, it also applies to non-standardized valves or to standardized valves which have to meet special requirements in accordance with regulations, the rules of engineering practice or standards, in cases where this has been agreed.
