Gives preferred values for characteristics and ratings and also inspection requirements for lead screw actuated and rotary present potentiometers of assessed quality. It selects from generic specification, CECC 41 000, appropriate test methods to be used in detail specifications derived from this document. A blank detail specification completed as specified in this document forms a detail specification which may be used for granting of Qualification Approval to a potentiometer and for performance of Quality Conformance Inspection in accordance with CECC System.
