Establishes requirements for the performance, construction and marking of credit and prepayment diaphragm meters with a badged rating of 212 cubic feet or 6 cubic metres per hour, for use with first or second family gases at working pressures as far as 50 mbar. Refers to top connections complying with BS 746 and includes requirements for heat and fire resistance. The prepayment meter requirements relate to mechanisms that can be used with #1.00 and #0.50 coins.
