This standard is included in DIN DVS Handbook 8. Defines requirements for classifying tubular cored electrodes in the as-welded condition for metal arc welding with or without a gas shield of non-alloy and fine grain steels having a minimum yield strength to 500 N/mm. It is possible to test one such electrode with different gases.
