Applies to automatic, semi-automatic and manually operated atomizing oil burners, which will from now on be referred to as ('oil burners', for short), and which are fitted out in accordance with sub-clause 4.1. The use and installation of these oil burners in different types of heat generators are dealt w DIN 4755 Part 1, DIN 4794 Part 1 and Part 2, and they are designed for the firing of EL grade fuel oil in accordance with DIN 51 603 Part 1 and of S grade fuel oil in accordance with DIN 51 603 Part 2. This standard is also applicable to the oil firing portion of burners designed to fire other fuels as well.
