Gives the general requirements for safety of electric heating appliances and electric motor-operated or magnetically driven appliances for household and similar purposes. It includes appliances, which nevertheless may be a source of danger to the public such as appliances used by laymen in shops, in light industry and on farms. Also applies to all electrical appliances for household and similar general use.
