Describes two-pole appliance couplers for a.c. only, with and without earthing contact, with a voltage not exceeding 250 V and a current not exceeding 16 A, for household purposes and for the connection of a supply flexible cable or cord to electric appliances for 50 Hz or 60 Hz supply.
