Specifies a method of type testing particulate air filters (particulates being understood to include duct, mist, bacteria and viruses) using paraffin oil mist as the test aerosol. It may be used for the type testing of particulate filtering media ('filtering material', for short) and of filter elements which, on the basis of the technical description provided by the manufacturer, may be considered to be of the same type.
