Gives requirements for group II (as defined in Part 1 of this standard), portable, transportable and fixed apparatus to detect and measure combustible gas or vapour concentrations with air. Other than mines that are susceptible to firedamp, the apparatus may be installed in potentially explosive atmospheres. This standard is restricted to apparatus intended to detect and measure volume ratios of combustible gas or vapour in air in volume fractions from 0 % to 100 %.
