This standard is included in DIN Handbook 289. Describes instruments (sound level meters) for the measurement of certain frequency and time weighted sound pressure levels. Gives the following characteristics of sound level meters: - directional characteristics; - frequency weighting characteristics; - time weighting, detector and indicator characteristics; - sensitivity to various environments.
