Applicable to condensing units, both air cooled and water cooled, employing single stage refrigerant compressors of the positive volume displacement type including hermetic, semi-hermetic and open types. Methods of test are similar to those described in BS 3122 : Part 1 : 1977. Also gives method for presentation of performance data for refrigerant condensing units, including correction factors and part load characteristics.
