Provides requirements for stationary or portable, single phase or polyphase, air cooled reduced system voltage transformers, having a supply voltage not exceeding 1000 V, and an output not exceeding 25 kV A. It applies to those transformers used when the installation rules call for a double wound transformer in which the neutral point of the output windings of polyphase transformers, or the centre point of the output windings of a single phase transformer is connected to the protective earth circuits, with a maximum rated output voltage of 110 V. Applicable to those used to supply power for portable tools and mobile site lighting.
