The compulsory specification specifies requirements for Polymer films used for waterproofing or damp-proofing in buildings. The material is incorporated to foundations, walls and roofs of buildings during construction, to prevent the passage of moisture in to the building structure. The compulsory specification applies to organisations and individuals who manufacture, import, distribute and supply in anyway Polymer film for damp-proofing and waterproofing in buildings.
