Sets out a method of recording information on the design, installation and operating capability of a hose reel system installed in premises. The Handbook applies to hose reels manufactured to AS 1221, Fire hose reels, and installed in accordance with AS 2441, Installation of fire hose reels. It is based on the requirements of the Building Code of Australia 1996 edition. This Handbook is intended to be used in conjunction with the separate pads of checklists and commissioning certificates available as Supplements 1 and 2 respectively.
