This Standard is included in DIN Handbook 11-2. Specifies requirements for NOT GO rod gauges to be used for gauging plain workpieces. Such gauges are not suitable for gauging thin-walled, and hence easily distorted, components, for gauging short holes and for gauging internal screw threads, use of gauges as specified in DIN 2247 Part 3 or 4 being recommended instead.
