This standard is a tool to define and implement a respiratory protection program, providing criteria for the selection, use, care and maintenance of APVR.This standard does not cover APVRs used for immersion or for pressures other than normal atmospheric pressure.Appendix B (informative) contains the list of European standards on APVRs available at the date of publication of this standard.
