This standard prescribes requirements, methods of sampling and test for M15 fuel, an admixture of anhydrous methanol meeting IS 17075 at 15 percent by volume and methanol free motor gasoline meetingIS 2796 at 85 percent volume, for use in vehicles equipped with spark ignition engines, stationary and industrial engines specially designed for using such fuel.
