Gives the general technical conditions of delivery for bright steel bars in the turned, drawn and ground condition, in straight lengths and of the following kinds: General engineering steels (as defined in EN 10277-2), case-hardening steels (as defined in EN 10277-4), steels for tempering and quenching (as defined in EN 10277-5) and free-cutting steels (as defined in EN 10277-3).Cold rolled products and cut lengths made from sheet or strip by cutting are not included.
Supersedes UNI 10233-1.
