METHOD FOR CONVERTING ELONGATION VALUES FOR STEEL - METHOD OF CONVERSION FOR APPLICATION TO AUSTENITIC STEELS
出版:British Standards Institution

专家解读视频
Gives a method of converting room temperature percentage elongations after fracture obtained on various proportional and non-proportional gauge lengths to other gauge lengths. The formula on which conversions are based is considered to be reliable when applied to austenitic stainless steels. Not applicable to cold reduced steels, quenched and tempered steels, and non-austenitic steels. Care should be exercised in the case of strip under 3 mm thickness, as the index in the formula given increases with decreasing thickness.
