This standard is included in DIN DVS Handbook 8 and 191. Classifies shielding gases in accordance to their chemical properties as a base for the approval of shielding gas and filler wire combinations. Also specifies gas purities and mixing tolerances. Coverage includes: designation, gas cylinders, forms of supply, and purities and dew point.
