Applies to switchgear and controlgear intended to be connected to circuits, the rated voltage of which does not exceed 1000 V a.c. or 1500 V d.c. This Standard is identical with, and has been reproduced from Consolidated Edition 3.1 of IEC 60947 which includes IEC 60947-1:1999, its Corrigendum 1999-04 and Amendment 1:2000.
