1.1 This standard deals with the construction of components made of plain or reinforced concrete of dense structure, which is applied by spraying and compacting in one operation.This standard also covers the use of sprayed concrete for repairing and strengthening components.1.2 This standard does not cover the application of plaster by spraying (cf. DIN18350).1.3 Clause 5 of this standard does not apply to sprayed concrete work for supporting underground construction works if this is covered by the specifications given in DIN18312.1.4 Clauses 1 to 5 of DIN18299 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN18299 contradict the present standard, the latter shall take precedence.
