Proposes the adoption of ISO 3891:1978 as an Australian Standard. This draft Standard specifies the method to be followed for the purpose of describing the noise from a single aircraft operation. It also provides a method for determining a noise exposure measure for a succession of operations in a given time-interval. Specific uses for which these methods might be used are also discussed.
