Specifies requirements for the physical aspects of hospital medical records, such as size, quality, layout, colour, order of filing, record cover and method of fitting the medical record within the record cover. Size, paper grammage, paper quality, paper colour, colour coding of sheets, sheet identification, drilling of sheets, re-order number of sheets, patient identification, layout of sheet and constructional requirements and physical aspects of dividers and medical record covers are laid down. Order of sectional filing and order of filing within each section are also specified.
