Applies to capacitor units and capacitor banks meant to be used, particularly, for power factor correction of a.c. power systems having a rated voltage up to and including 1 000 V and frequency 15 Hz to 60 Hz. Coverage includes: voltage tests between terminals and container; maximum permissible voltage; protection of the environment; capacitors connected to systems with audiofrequency remote control.
