Scope This document describes a method for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of organic vapor phase compounds released from vehicle interior lining under simulated real-life conditions, ie a vehicle parked for several hours. in direct sunlight. This document can be implemented as an optional supplement to ISO 12219-4, so that VOC, volatile carbonyl compounds and COSV tests can all be performed in one day. This part has been added to better understand the behavior of emission and emission potential of interior parts and materials of selected vehicles exposed to high temperatures. (By convention, 100 ° C is defined as the highest temperature). The test is performed in small emission test chambers (small chambers). These small rooms are intended to provide a transfer function to vehicle-oriented emissions.
