This standard is included in DIN Handbook 403 and 405. Applies to seamless circular tubes and pipes (hereinafter briefly referred to as tubes) subject to special requirements and made from the austenitic stainless steels listed in Table 1. These tubes are predominantly used in the construction of pressure vessels, chemical plant and pipework.
