Describes requirements for materials, dimensions, mechanical properties, hardness, heat treatment, condition, tolerances and surface protection of ductile iron pipes. Applies to the following: pipes of class K9 having spigots and/or sockets for flexible joints, pipes of class K9 or K12 having screwed on flanges and pipes of class K9 having welded on flanges and pipes of class K12 having integral cast on flanges. Gives dimensions of flanges for pressure ratings PN 10, 16, 25 and 40. Also applies to fittings having spigots and/or sockets or flanges.
