Specifies a method for determining the tensile properties of film or sheeting less than 1 mm thick in the form of standard test specimens tested under defined conditions of pretreatment, temperature, humidity and speed of testing. Different speeds of testing are specified to suit the different materials. The method may not be applicable for the determination of tensile properties of reinforced films and cellular sheet and film.
