This standard is included in DIN Handbook 275. Defines an apparatus and method for laboratory wet disintegration of pulp, together with disintegration apparatus and certain procedures specified in other International Standards. Applies to most types of pulp, including recycled fibres, but not to very long-fibred pulps eg from cotton and similar materials. Not to be used for removing latency from mechanical pulps.
