This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the methods of analyzing formaldehyde in flue gas. In this Standard, the flue gas means the gas exhausted in a flue, chimney, or duct in cases where such process is carried out as manufacturing of resin or the like, burning of methanol, other chemical reactions or the working process using or generating formaldehyde, or the gas exhausted to the exhaust pipe or the like of internal combustion engine
