General notes:
This standard has been withdrawn as it is replaced by BS EN 60669-1:1996. It was originally retained as it covers DC requirements (which are not included in BS EN 60669-1). However, the requirements for DC in BS 3676-1:1989 are minimal to the extent that it is unsafe to allow this standard to continue to claim that it covers DC performance of switches
