Gives requirements for single and double cold reduced blackplate in the form of ends intended for manufacturing tinplate. Applies to coils in minimum widths of 600mm either with trimmed or untrimmed edges. Covers definitions, information to be supplied by the purchaser, designation, manufacturing features, specific requirements, mechanical properties, tolerances on dimensions and shape, joints within a coil, sampling, test methods, retests and dispatch and packaging.
