Relates to concrete block masonry using concrete building blocks manufactured in accordance with AS 1500. The code covers materials, general planning considerations, structural design and workmanship, and site control. Appendices deal with mortar, bond strength, fire resistance ratings and thermal insulation properties of blockwork. Information on sound insulation and airborne and impact sound transmission loss is also included.
