Includes committees responsible, principle, general requirements for tests, inspection before and after testing, apparatus, procedures, interpretation of results, test report, explanation of furniture test levels, calibration of drawer slamming machine, tables of test procedures, average loads applied to parts other than the part being tested, maximum loads applied to parts undergoing test, steel impact plates, relationship of test levels to use of furniture, specific applications for furniture in relation to test levels. Figures include deflection of shelves, strength of shelf supports, deflection of clothes rails and wear and fatigue of pivoted doors.
