Covers the evaluation process for determination of parameters from the linear representation of the material ratio curve (also known as the Abbott curve), which covers the increase of the material portion of the surface with increasing depth of the roughness profile. Also intended for help in assessment of the operational behaviour of highly mechanically stressed surfaces.
